Annemarie van Gaal is an entrepreneur and investor. In the Netherlands, she was best known for her commitment to raising awareness in financial matters, for example through her books and TV appearances. In addition, she is an investor in various companies and ventures.

In the 90s I lived in Russia. In 1991 I started Independent Media together with my then business partner, Derk Sauer. The organization consisted of twenty magazines, four daily newspapers, trade journals and trade fairs. A mega-sized company that we sold when we employed 700 to 800 people.
