Martijn van der Hoeden was eighteen years old when he founded Assistance Software, a software company for architects and engineering firms. Eventually he turned it into an International Microsoft ISV with more than 250 resellers in 25 countries and 35,000+ users and branches in the Netherlands and America, after which he sold it to UNIT4. After the sale, he started No Monkey Business, with which he supports companies with growth and sales.
“I have personally experienced what it is like to sell a company. I then made a sales plan for the company: Assistance Software. We wanted to fulfill our mission and ensure that we grew quickly. At Assistance Software we made project management software. You see at tech companies that the technological shelf life of your software is getting shorter and shorter. I noticed that I wanted to focus on software development and marketing, but not implementation.”
